US President George W. Bush made another gaffe at the G-8 summit in St. Petersburg.

Bush -- assuming the microphone was off -- was caught during the lunch for leaders of the G-8 summit in St. Petersburg.

Chatting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair over lunch, Bush said "What they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this shit, and it's over."

Also recorded by TV cameras, President Bush was unaware that his words were heard.

Talking with Blair, Bush said that he would "soon" send US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to the Middle East.

Both leaders also criticized UN Secretary General Kofi Annan who called for ceasefire by Israel.

"What do you think about Kofi Annan? He basically favors a ceasefire and everything is possible," Bush asked and Blair answered "If things go well in Lebanon and he finds a solution for the problem of Palestine and Israel, he believes things will go well in Iraq, too. The same is valid for Iran, too."

Blair also warned it will be difficult to stop the crisis in case no agreement is reached on deploying an international peace keeping force in Lebanon.

The G-8 summit hosted by Russia ended yesterday.

"We did agree that global growth remained strong and started to settle more," the final declaration at the summit held in St. Petersburg read.

Leaders asked Armenia to increase the security of the Metzamor nuclear power station close to border with Turkey.
